United Institute (Switzerland) is our sister institution and awards the final qualifications upon graduation. While that remains true, we are working hard towards Dutch accreditation of our Metropolitan Master program.🎓

Institutional accreditation and certification

Institutional accreditation by BAC

As a group, we were institutionally accredited in 2023 by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), an EQAR-listed quality assurance agency.

Institutional certification by CRKBO

We were certified in 2017 for inclusion in the "Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs", the national registry of educational institutions offering professional education.

Institutional certification by NRTO

We were awarded the quality label in 2017 from the "Nederlandse Raad voor Training en Opleiding", the trade association for private educators in the Netherlands, in recognition of the quality and professional level of service offered to students.

Institutional accreditation by ATHEA

As a group, we were institutionally accredited in 2022 by the Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA), a registered affiliate of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

Programmatic accreditation

Programmatic accreditation by the Fundacion para el conocimiento Madri+D

Since 2024, the 'Professional Master' variants of the UIBS Master programs offered in Barcelona, Madrid and Online were accredited by the EQAR-listed 'Fundacion para el conocimiento Madri+D', making these variants state-recognized.

Programmatic accreditation by ACBSP

Since 2016, several programs at the UIBS main campus in Zurich and at its branch campuses in Antwerp, Barcelona and Brussels are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States of America. Its other campuses in Geneva, Madrid, Milan and Tokyo, as well as our own campus in Amsterdam, are considered educational sites under the UIBS accredited main and branch campuses.

Since 2010, several programs at the UIBS campuses in Antwerp, Barcelona, Brussels, Geneva, Madrid, Milan, Tokyo and Zurich, as well as at our own campus in Amsterdam, are accredited by the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), a registered affiliate of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
